Photo: Hot Bed Press was established in 1994 in Manchester UK by a small group of graduates/artists looking for somewhere to print.
Originally called Manchester Artists’ Papermaking and Printmaking Studio.

Photo: For me, it wasn't the easiest place to take photos. I was not sure of cultural attitudes and I needed pockets full of Euros as picture taking had become a lucrative business for the locals. I took most of my shots from the hip feeling under pressure to capture the exotic atmosphere of the place, berbers who come to town to spend winter there and avoid any confrontation at the same time. And I suppose this was the best thing that could have happened, because I got back home with the film full of surprising images.

Photo: It is where the earth shows off its best shades of reds, golds, and blues and every time you think you have seen every possible color combination it surprises you again and again.
