My kit

My Fuji GF670 is the pride of my film cameras, I also have a Brownie, a Kodak Duaflex, a few 35mm, a 3D printed pinhole camera - I also have a couple of Nikon DSLRs.
I like to travel and take photographs. I've been 'taking pictures' on and off since I was at school - I remember lugging my camera around school trips. Re-started film photography with my Brownie a couple of years ago, now also do my own developing.

Photo: The atlantic ocean. You can see what Varadero is such a draw - warm sea, white sand and weather good for waterspouts such as sailing, diving, and wind surfing. As with many of my black and white photos, this was shot with a B+W orange filter, hence the almost-black sea and the dark sky. Varadero is about 2.5 hours by taxi from Havana airport. Photo: There are many of these simple street-corner food stores throughout Havana. There is typically a simple menu just inside the window and customers are served through the hatch. They never seemed to be particularly quiet. Photo: Another view from our hotel, this time looking south, with the towers of the central railway station and the docks in the distance.
